Substantial? Definitely. Dramatic? That, too. The Serving Platter shines, plated with food or all alone on your table.

When East Fork was still an all-wheel-thrown pottery studio, we made platters similar to this one. But when we got the factory up and running, we first turned our focus to smaller forms like plates, bowls and, of course, The Mug. Still, we’ve always loved having a good platter around—for serving, for showing off and for making the table feel just a little more special.

Why we love it:

  • A shape we’ve loved since our wheel-thrown days
  • Our favorite form for plating homemade pizza off the grill
  • Guaranteed to steal the show at your next potluck

Details:

  • Dimensions: 14.5" x 1.5"
  • Weight: 4.6 lbs
  • Material: 100% Lead Free Stoneware
  • Our pottery is made by humans and reduction-fired in Asheville, North Carolina. Any differences in glaze applications and surfaces are there to embrace.

Care:

  • Dishwasher and microwave safe
  • Avoid open flames or preheated ovens. Our pots are oven safe up to 350° but must start in a cool oven and be brought up to heat gradually (think crème brûlée).
  • Over time, your pots might accumulate mild cutlery marks. These can be buffed off with warm water and scouring powder such as Bar Keeper's Friend.
